LET'S TAKE A WALK ALONG A STONE PATH THROUGH A GARDEN. WE WILL SEE TARO PATCHES, HEAR THE CHEERFUL SONGS OF THE BIRDS IN THE TOPS OF THE COCONUT
AND BETELNUT TREES. WE WILL SEE THE
GRACEFUL FERN, THE DELICATE HIBISCUS, AND THE GECKOS DARTING ACROSS OUR PATH.

EVERYTHING IN THE GARDEN IS USEFUL. WE CAN PREPARE OUR MEALS, ENJOY SOOTHING
MEDICINAL POTIONS, MAKE OUR CLOTHES AND OUR BASKETS, BUILD OUR FIRES, MULCH OUR YAMS, AND SO MUCH MORE.

THE WOMEN BUILD THESE PATHS WITH
LOVING CARE. ONCE A MONTH
EVERYONE IN THE VILLAGE COMES
TOGETHER TO CLEAN THE COMMON
AREAS AND PATHWAYS.

THE STONE PATH WILL LEAD US TO THE
COMMUNITY CENTER WHICH IS MADE FROM THE FLORA IN THE GARDEN. THE CENTER IS USED FOR MEETINGS, A PLACE FOR GUESTS TO SLEEP FOR THE NIGHT,
FOR VILLAGE
GATHERINGS, AND IT IS WHERE
ANCIENT STORIES ARE TOLD THROUGH THE DANCE.
